ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
The Saint-Jacques racecourse is located in the countryside in the Massioux section. It attracts, from December to August, every Sunday, a public of regulars who come in large numbers: they are passionate about horse racing and betting.
Half-bloods but also Thoroughbreds are ridden by Caribbean jockeys who tread a track, sometimes muddy, sometimes dusty under a blazing sun. Betting is open but many come for the festive atmosphere and the entertainment provided by local artists.
