ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
An old farm located in Anse-Bertrand, in the north of Grande-Terre. La Mahaudière appeared as early as 1732 and was first a cotton mill before being transformed into a vast sugar factory, classified as a medium-sized enterprise in 19th century Guadeloupe.
