MUSIC, PASSION & TRADITION AT THE NEXT 2024 FESTIVALS ON THE GUADELOUPE ISLANDS
Only a few days to go until the end of 2023! As always, we'll be kicking off the new year with the frenzied rhythms of Carnival, followed by a succession of festivities thanks to the many Festivals taking place in 2024!
Whether you're a fan of traditional, blues or trendy music, we've got a great program in store for you this year!
In April, the Fidelin Day Festival in Terre-de-bas, Les Saintes
Classified as a historic monument, the Fidelin pottery in Terre-de-bas opens its doors for the Fidelin Day Festival. Come and meet a festival that focuses on local crafts and showcases numerous artists.
After 3 successful events, Fidelin Day is gearing up for the 4th edition in April 2024.
The Fidelin Day Festival attracts between 300 and 500 people to the Fidelin pottery site, along with a food court and bar.

Festival 'Terre de Blues' in Marie-Galante from May 18 to 20, 2024
After a three-year break, the festival returned to Habitation Murat in 2023!
The festival featured Latin, African and Caribbean music, with headliners Youssou N'Dour, Yémi Aladé and Aswad.
Local artists from the Guadeloupe Islands were not to be outdone either, with Célia Wa, Florence Naprix and Génération Zouk providing an authentic local musical experience.
In addition to the friendly, family atmosphere, the island of Marie-Galante was bustling with activity throughout the Pentecost weekend, with entertainment and concerts organized in the island's restaurants, not forgetting the traditional Friday Léwoz on the port of Grand-Bourg.
With a forecast attendance of nearly 15,000 festival-goers, this famous festival is considered the biggest Whitsun event in the Caribbean!

The Westindies Green Festival, Le Moule, June 22 and 23, 2024
The very first eco-responsible deejaying festival in the Caribbean, the WGF aims to raise awareness and engage festival-goers while offering them an entertaining and sustainable musical experience.
The 1st edition in 2022 was remarkable, with no fewer than 12,250 festival-goers, 282 kilos of plastic avoided and 65% of waste recycled. Not to mention the many actions taken to protect coral reefs!

GWOKA FESTIVAL IN JULY AT SAINTE-ANNE

Gwoka is a popular cultural practice in the Guadeloupe Islands, practiced by all ethnic and religious groups in society.
Thousands of enthusiasts take part in open-air evenings dedicated to this practice, which combines responsorial singing in Guadeloupean Creole, ka drum rhythms and dance, while highlighting individual improvisational skills.
Gwoka is one of the most symbolic elements of the Guadeloupe Islands, and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site 10 years ago.
By reinforcing identity and promoting values of conviviality, resistance and dignity, Gwoka provides a sense of collective self-esteem and individual pride.

THE ALL DAY IN, 'LE MOULE' JULY 20 & 21, 2024
Every year, the All Day In Music Festival (or ADI) celebrates electro-Caribbean music and French and international rap, featuring the hottest DJs and artists.
On average, the ADI mobilizes some fifty local businesses, including around thirty restaurateurs, to ensure the success of the event.
In all, nearly 300 people work for the event.
30,000 festival-goers are expected on the Alizés beach.
