Sainte-Rose is a major gateway to the "Grand Cul-de-sac Marin" of Guadeloupe, the largest lagoon of the Lesser Antilles, protected by the National Park of Guadeloupe, and classified as a World Heritage Site.

A Cycl'eau is a catamaran with pedals: you pedal and it turns a propeller (so much more efficient than the paddle wheel of pedal boats™), which allows you to navigate at 3 knots without effort (about 5 km/h). On your boat two adults pedal in the front, and the kids can go in the back (without pedals).
