SYMBOISE CARAÏBE - HIKING IN THE BLUE BASIN AND THE PARABOLE'S WATERFALL

Here is an original hike, with a part in the riverbed (feet in the water) and another part in the forest, which will allow you to discover splendid landscapes. On the program: basins, waterfalls, gorges and rain forest.

This large loop takes us across a wide path to the Bassin Bleu, a well-known place for many Guadeloupians. Then, it's the adventure that begins (on an unmarked "path"): after passing a first easy obstacle, we are in the bed of the River Galion. We go up to the cascade of the Parabola, 12 m high, after a succession of basin and spectacular scenery. We then leave the riverbed to regain civilization and our vehicles after a good walk through a beautiful rain forest with some remarkable trees.

This loop located at the edge of the National Park is only for the good walkers : it includes a long portion in river and two passages with rope. It is classified difficult: you must be in good physical condition and not present a major physical problem (breathing, balance, heart, etc).
