La Grande-Terre: IDYLLIC BEACHES AND EXCEPTIONAL PANORAMAS

Separated from the Basse-Terre island by a narrow inlet called the "Rivière Salée", La Grande-Terre is an island with a surface area of ± 586 km². Renowned for its magnificent sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters and sunny tropical climate, it's a popular destination for tourists seeking relaxation, water sports and cultural discoveries. Agriculture is also present, with sugar cane and banana plantations in particular. The island also offers a wealth of culture, with picturesque villages, tasty Creole cuisine and lively festivities.
